positioning themselves politically to be appointed to a higher position, either federal
prosecutors or federal appointed judgeships.

Heath Shuler has been scurrying to have his pick placed into a federal prosecutor position.

Unusual not in just the fact of this being unique, but also the fact of his pick Davis -
who has no experience in federal court.

This attorney can be controlled.

Could this be an attempt by Shuler to cover his butt because of the uncovering of possible
tax-evasion from his Blackberry Cove development in Tennessee?

Is this also a pick that can aid Ron Moore and John Ledford?
